Sustainable landscaping and permaculture food production

This client was looking for eco-friendly landscape design ideas to inspire their upcoming retirement.
Three concepts were developed to focus on various desires

• Space for grandchildren to play
• Perennial food production
• Sustainable landscape design
• Keep the existing ugly fence for the dog

We worked through three concepts to bring these ecological landscaping desires together with varied balance between each desired element.  The final outcome inspired a final organic landscaping design that focused on local watershed management, beautiful open lawn, increased shade, and massive potential for food production.
